Serioplast, a global leader in rigid plastic packaging, is looking for a Customer Relations Intern to join our Commercial Team at our Global Headquarters in Seriate (BG). 

What will you do?

  • Handle simple quotations (e.g. new packaging, new master, freight, samples, etc.) that do not require Capex, with Key Account Executive approval
  • Perform condition analyses and simulations to optimize pricing, later validated by the Key Account Executive
  • Periodically update price lists in all their components (resins, masterbatch, pack & freight,)
  • Upload price lists and sales orders into SAP
  • Collect information on cost increases (raw materials, energy, HR, etc.) to support potential price reviews
  • Know, suggest updates to, and monitor the correct application of contractual clauses
  • Supervise product and packaging changes ensuring coherence with sales conditions
  • Help to perform periodic analyses on rebates vs. sales, sold volumes vs plan, depreciations, return on investments, and other financial metrics
  • Elaborate, analyze and monitor relevant KPIs aimed at maximizing sales margins (e.g. sold vs. planned, master usage, material yield, packaging rotation, number of mould/color changes, safety stock, obsolescence, forex, end-of-line, non-conformities, inflation, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Key Account teams in drafting commercial budgets and analyze order history to ensure accurate forecasts
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Plants to gather feedback on production trends and refine forecasts
  • Assist in brainstorming sessions with Clients to identify cost-saving opportunities
What are we looking for? 
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economy or equivalent field
  • Good understanding of supply chain processes and business economics
  • Excellent knowledge of English
