What will you do?
Reporting to the Regional Director, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the proper management of accounting activities
- Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and financial reports for Global HQ and the Regional Director
- Develop the annual industrial budget and monitor financial performance against targets
- Prepare the yearly balance sheet in compliance with local regulations and company standards
- Calculate corporate taxes (income tax, labor taxes, VAT, etc.), prepare reports, and ensure timely filings
- Manage relationships with external accountants and financial auditors
- Provide guidance on financial, fiscal, legal, and accounting regulations and policies
- Support HQ Finance in identifying financial improvements and cost optimization opportunities
- Manage relationships with banks and assist HQ in negotiating financing solutions to ensure adequate cash flow
- Coordinate relationships with third parties and local authorities
- Oversee office and facility-related administrative operations, including utilities, service contracts, and general services
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
- Strong expertise in taxation and regulatory compliance
- Good understanding of corporate and commercial law
- Advanced ERP knowledge (SAP preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Chief Accountant or in a similar role within an international manufacturing environment
