Serioplast, a global leader in rigid plastic packaging, is looking for a Temporary Raw Materials Buyer to support procurement activities, covering a maternity leave.
The selected candidate will report to the Direct Procurement Manager and will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and competitive supply flow, managing and overseeing the strategic procurement of raw materials (resins, preforms) for assigned regions, in line with company standards and procedures.

The selected candidate will report to the Direct Procurement Manager and will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and competitive supply flow, managing and overseeing the strategic procurement of raw materials (resins, preforms) for assigned regions, in line with company standards and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of reference for assigned regions, continuously monitoring suppliers, pricing, and procurement conditions.
- Analyze macroeconomic variables, market trends, and key factors impacting raw material supply.
- Identify sourcing opportunities across different geographical areas.
- Evaluate and negotiate offers for the supply of materials (resins, preforms, etc.).
- Monitor the consolidation of material requirements, ensuring proper availability and optimizing stock usage in line with production plans and contractual agreements.
- Support the Sales department during tender processes for new projects by analyzing local market conditions, material and supplier availability, and simulating different cost scenarios.
- Propose new methods and approaches to improve and optimize procurement flows.
- Excellent knowledge of business economics.
- Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Solid project management skills.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Accountability, Problem-solving mindset, Resilience, Teamwork.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement roles within manufacturing environments.
