Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for an Accountant Lead for its plant in St. Louis, Missouri.

What will you do?
Reporting to the Regional Director, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the proper management of accounting activities.
  • Prepare and review monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and financial reports for Regional Management and Global HQ.
  • Develop and monitor the annual industrial budget and financial performance against targets.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
  • Calculate corporate taxes (income tax, labor taxes, VAT), prepare reports, and ensure timely filings.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, accountants, banks, and local authorities.
  • Provide guidance on financial, fiscal, legal, and accounting regulations and policies.
  • Support HQ Finance in identifying cost optimization and financial improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee facility-related administrative operations.
What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant, Accountant Lead or similar role in an international manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, corporate taxation, and regulatory compliance
  • Advanced experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
