Plastic Packaging Development Engineer
Serioplast, a global leader in rigid plastic packaging, is looking for a Product & Packaging Professional to join our team!

What will you do?
- You will manage product development projects in the packaging sector (new products, modifications to existing solutions, and reverse engineering activities), coordinating with internal teams and international clients.
- You will take part in the management of cross-functional technical projects, acting as Project Leader or Project Member depending on the project’s needs.
- You will request, organize, and participate in sampling activities, ensuring the correct implementation of the technical specifications required by the client.
- You will collaborate with technical departments, internal laboratories, and suppliers to implement changes to molds, equipment, or production processes, contributing to the resolution of technical issues.
- You will work closely with the Validation Lab to define the most appropriate testing methods, analyze test results, and present the findings both internally and to clients.
- You will provide technical support to clients in the design or optimization of plastic packaging products, carrying out feasibility studies and proposing potential technical improvements.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
Experience in a technical R&D or Management role.
Knowledge of polymers and plastic molding technologies like injection and blow molding.
Basic familiarity with measuring instruments and 3D CAD software.
Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Proactive mindset, accountability, problem-solving attitude, resilience, and a strong sense of teamwork.
