The Technologist reports to the Maintenance Manager. The purpose of this position is to guarantee production continuity and product conformity by ensuring process stability in compliance with health and safety rules and regulations and in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Sets product recipes ensuring regulations and parameters are in place, makes mechanical and electronic adjustments, controls production variables to ensure product specifications are met
• Supports in investigating, troubleshooting and resolving production and quality issues
• Ensures process stability during production and acts timely to address any deviation
• Supports the training of the production staff to help them solve minor technical problems affecting the quality of the product
• Carries out the setup of machines and equipment for production
• Provides operational control regarding the provision of material and energy resources, ensures technical correctness of equipment and fixed assets, the economical use of raw materials and fuel
• Identifies and organizes the use of additional production reserves, increasing labor productivity and product quality and reducing production costs
• Develops technical tasks for the design of special equipment, tools and devices enforcing technology and develops technical tasks for the production of non-standard equipment, automation and mechanization equipment
• Participates in the implementation of experimental work for the development of new technological processes and their implementation
• Develops the implementation of measures to improve production efficiency aimed at reducing the consumption of materials and labor intensity and increasing labor productivity
• Supports the Technical team in improvement projects and decisions on machines, equipment and processes
• Develops and prepares technological standards, instructions, route maps and other technological documentation.
• Supports in the definition of the Quality Management System completing the documentation and the improvement of production and process requirements
• Supervises compliancy to with the rules of HSE and BOP and with the sanitary and hygienic standards and procedures
• -To commit with quality standards and achieve quality objectives.
• -Maintaining the quality of the product according to the required specifications
